HELLO, I'M ALEXA!
I grew up in Orange County, and I've always had a passion for event planning. Over the years, I've planned intimate gatherings for my family, friends, and even corporate events. My attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure has equipped me with the skillset to execute seamless events for our couples.
I've always dreamed of starting my own venture, and after years of experience in business development and operations, I decided to make that dream a reality. As the founder of The Pretty Palm Leaf Event Co., I value the connection and relationships I build with each client. I believe that your wedding day should be a reflection of your unique love story, and I enjoy curating intentional details throughout the day to make that happen.
Our number one goal is to execute curated events that reflect our client’s love in the best way possible. It is no secret that weddings require a substantial amount of money, energy, and effort - and it’s our goal to ensure you and your boo are able to enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

I'm a creative and detail-oriented person, so you can trust that I'll take care of everything while making sure to add a touch of romance and fun to your big day.
After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in business, I gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry, including planning corporate events. With this experience, I'm well-equipped to guide you through every step of the planning process, from working within your budget to choosing the perfect cake frosting.

AMAZING!!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Coming from a type A-control freak bride, I felt like I could be completely present the day-of and could wholeheartedly trust Alexa, Tara, and Yong to execute our vision, help the day run smoothly, and handle all the behind the scenes efforts for our wedding. They did everything with ease, efficiency, and such grace (we had almost 200 guests!!!) that even if something did go wrong, we had no idea, haha. It was the BEST day, and a big part of that is because we had the BEST coordination team. Thank you all SO, SO much!!!

If I was to plan my wedding all over - I would hire Alexa and her team over and over again!
I hired them for the month of and it was the best decision - I planned everything on my own up until the timeline I hired them for and they helped me bring my whole vision together in the end. From the month of to the wedding day they exceeded my expectations! My wedding day flowed nicely and because of them I did not feel stressed at all! They didn’t feel like just my coordinators - I felt like they were my friends helping me plan my big day! On a side note - I am very particular and OCD when it comes to certain things, and they executed all my wants and needs perfectly. From our very first meeting, the girls were extremely detail oriented, organized, pleasant to work with and made every single vision for our wedding come to life. There were some things that we were very particular on and some things we left the design/execution up to the PPL team and they absolutely delivered. All of the things we left up to their design and execution turned out better than we could've ever even told them or came up with on our own. Alexa and her team were so incredible to work with. From start to finish, Alexa was attentive, organized, detail-oriented, and personable. She coordinated with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, created our wedding timeline, managed our rehearsal, and so much more. She was also super responsive and accommodating to any feedback we had. Alexa and her assistant Tara went above and beyond anything we were expecting. Every little detail was executed and our wedding day went so smoothly. We received so many compliments from our family and friends on how organized and on top of everything our coordinators were.
